The theme for this year’s residency is “the artists’ accountability.” We are inviting artists to explore how they can harness the unique qualities of sound to deepen their sense of responsibility to themselves, honor the wisdom of elders, engage with their communities, and leave a lasting impact on future generations. How do we nurture accountability through sound? How do we use transformative power of sound as a vehicle for personal reflection, intergenerational dialogue, community engagement, and legacy-building?
