Olivia Kayang is a Ghanaian visual artist and writer who understands photography, video, installation, music, and poetry as interconnected forms of writing. Her practice asks what becomes possible when language reaches its limits and meaning must be carried instead through images, sounds, moving bodies, objects, and space.

Her work contemplates questions of memory, belonging, perception, the ways histories inhabit the body, and the relationships between people, place, and the earth. Working across cultures and within multiple histories of Blackness, womanhood, and African identity, Kayang creates poetic encounters that invite feeling before explanation. Rather than offering definitive answers, her work dwells in uncertainty, asking how a loved one can be simultaneously present and absent, how a body can be both visible and unseen, how an image can be legible and illegible, how a sound can be audible yet distant, to create the possibility for new ways of seeing and feeling the world around us.

Kayang’s work has been exhibited in academic spaces and galleries in Colorado and Southern California, USA. She currently lives and works in Accra, Ghana, where she continues to develop an interdisciplinary practice grounded in writing, sound, and image-making.

Joy is a singer and composer who moves freely between Electronica, Jazz, Experimental Music and Pop, with an affinity for storytelling. Joy has been mostly touring the world with OY – a duo with co-writer and producer Melodydreamer. OY’s debut ‘First Box Then Walk’ 2010) met with critical success, followed by invitations to festivals such as Sonar Festival (ES), Montreux Jazz (CH) or SXSW (USA). For 2014’s ‘No Problem Saloon’ released on Belgian Cult-Label Crammed Discs, Joy took off to collect field-recorded samples and topics on a trip to Western and Southern Africa. This album again catapulted the duo from their Berlin studio into the world, playing more than 200 shows in 20+ countries. It was followed by 2016’s ‘Space Diaspora’, an Afrofuturistic space opera and “World Wide We” in 2023 – an album surrounding the topic of global solidarity.

Joy previously collaborated with many musicians from Avant-Pop to Improv, most notably with dadaistic Hip-Hop-Crew Infinite Livez vs Stade (Big Dada Records/Ninja Tune) or producer Ripperton (Compost Records). She has also worked as a composer for radio plays and experimental animation short films.

Theresa Kufuor, known creatively as Twita, is a writer, spoken word performer, and entrepreneur. A Theatre Arts student at the University of Education, Winneba, she is widely recognised for her powerful delivery and meaningful storytelling.

Her artistic career is marked by significant milestones, including winning the 2022 Ehalakasa National Slam Championship and reaching the semi-finals of the 2023 World Poetry Slam. She made history as the first Ghanaian poet to represent the nation at the World Poetry Championship in Brazil.

Her work focuses on real-life issues, with a deep passion for advocating for women and Children.

Beyond her art, Twita is a dedicated entrepreneur who manages brands like Lux Aura and Pink Emergency.

She combines her creative talent with business expertise to deliver excellence in every project. Twita is committed to using her platform to tell impactful stories and inspire change through both her poetry and her business.
