Lamisi is a singer songwriter and performer from Zebilla, a town in the Upper East region of Ghana. She is the first woman from her ethnic tribe to pursue music to the international stage. She also operates a nonprofit called ‘Lamisi Music Foundation’ which focuses on girl child and woman empowerment and donates sanitary pads to girls in the rural areas. Lamisi plays basket shakers, talking drums, shekere and uses a vocal pedal to create ethereal vocals. To imagine the music Lamisi performs, think Daft Punk lead vocals Fatoumata Diawara melodies, and authentic West African village music.
ABBLA UNIQUE
Abbla Unique is a Ghanaian afro alternative artist, singer-songwriter, model, and actor.
She loves the arts and since her public debut in 2018 via The Vodafone Icons, has explored her musical abilities further through other shows and collaboration with other artists. Unique is a person with albinism, it does not prevent her from living her life out loud or making her dreams a reality.
DUMAMA
Gugulethu Duma (aka Dumama) is a musician / composer / sonic poet / creative producer from the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. Her practice plays with the deconstruction and critique of archaic modes of representation in Southern African/African sonic and performance culture, while also composing music for herself and others. As a storyteller and lyricist she weaves together childhood songs, stories and personal memories with electronic hues and gestures, experimenting with the divide between traditional oral culture and futuristic, globally oriented poetics.
AKOTOWAA
Akotowaa is a Ghanaian storyteller. She is a weaver of words in many forms, including fiction, non-fiction and spoken-word poetry. In 2016, she released her debut spoken word project, the Solitaire EP, and has since been a featured artist and songwriter on various artistes’ projects. Her most recent single, “Heroes”, featuring KiKie and Tommy WÁ, was released in November 2023. She is an alumna of the Clarion West Workshop, the JIAS Creative Writers’ Workshop, and the LOATAD West African Writers Residency and her prose appears in various anthologies worldwide. Her debut novella, The Year of Return, was published in 2024 by Android Press in the US and is forthcoming through Smartline Publishers in Ghana. The spider, a symbol of wisdom and creativity in Akan culture, is Akotowaa’s totem.
MAAME SERWAA
Maame Serwaa, popularly known as “Massy” is a Ghanaian singer, performer & songwriter born to Akua Benewaa. Although Massy wasn’t born in a musically-inclined environment, her love for music began when she was 5 years old; she would compose songs just for fun. Massy is inspired by her mum because she is her superwoman. The resilience she emits is one to reckon with. She also admires artists like Beyoncé (USA) and Tems (Nigeria) because of their strong stage presence, talent and style.

UZEI is a multifaceted Artist, who enjoys the versatility of Creating Arts in every form, she has found comfort in expressing herself musically through Afro-soul and Alternative music. She has also recently released her debut single, on the 16th of May called “Jupiter and Mars”, A song that deeply depict a strong sense of Self, love and Emotions. She would describe her Music as a deep dive into fluid water and a release into space.
