You Are Cared For (YACF) is an innovative audiovisual initiative by Black Girls Glow, leveraging art and pop culture as powerful tools for sexual health advocacy. Addressing the alarming rise in teenage pregnancies in Ghana, YACF creates age-specific, culturally inclusive educational content on topics like menstruation, consent, contraception, STIs, relationships, and safe sex.

Through creative videos, workshops, and partnerships with schools and community centers, YACF provides young people with the knowledge to make informed choices, reducing the risks of unintended pregnancies, STIs, and exploitation. In 2023, our impactful school tours reached students across the Greater Accra and Volta Regions, fostering open, positive learning environments with the support of teachers and communities.
